CONNECT is a FREE service which gives your Printing business the opportunity to:

• Turn unwanted stock or materials into cash 
• Sell unwanted or obsolete machinery

As part of our commitment to the U.K. Printing Sector CONNECT is an opportunity for all printers to “Anonymously Network” with each other to dispose of those items that lurk in the dark recesses of your warehouse and convert them into cash.

How does it work?

CONNECT gives you the opportunity to place an advert free of charge on the CONNECT website. You enter the information yourself following the on screen instructions and your "ad" is created for you. You can either enter an item that you want to sell or you can place an ad for something you need. Visitors to the site can then view your information. We will also email the adverts regularly to our database. For more information please click here

What can I advertise?

There are three categories:

CONNECT Materials - for paper, board, plastics, vinyls any saleable substrate that you no longer need.

CONNECT Machinery - for those pieces of equipment that you no longer have a use for that take up space

CONNECT Capacity - due to launch soon, avoid the peaks and troughs of Print Production 

CONNECT gives you the opportunity to list these items anonymously on our website. Should another printer be interested in these items we then ask the seller if they want to talk to the potential buyer and if the answer is yes then Principles Partners will simply CONNECT the two parties. The rest of the transaction is down to you.

What do I do now?

1. You need to register click on "CONNECT register" at the top of the page
2. You will be asked to enter 5 pieces of information and a User name and Password
3. You then proceed to the Login screen and enter your User name and Passsword
4. Then simply follow the on screen instructions e.g. to create your advert click on "Create an advert"
5. Your ad will then be sent for approval and, once it has been, it will appear on the site to other users
6. You have the ability once you have logged in to edit your item
7. You also have the ability to upload a picture of the item if you want to
8. There are instructions about uploading on the site
9. Sit back and wait, should anyone express an interest in your item we will email you
10. You then decide if you want your contact information passed on

How long does it take?

No more than 5 minutes once you've got the swing of it.

What happens then? 

Frankly that is the end of our involvement it's then down to the two parties concerned to organise the details of the transaction. Just the same as if you had placed an advert in a newspaper. To read more about Rules, Regulations and Frequently Asked Questions please click here
